The goals of this initiative are in the first place to popularise mathematics through the society, encouraging secondary school teachers to embrace new, modern approach to mathematics, identifying on early stage talented youth, and, at the same time, giving those gifted students possibility to develop their talents and ambitions. The additional outcome is getting more motivated and encouraged students at our departments. These are the global goals of the mathematical contests.
